How do we observe the changes in time?
Many clocks are circular and rotate every 12 hours.
The hands of the clock have gone through a circle, time has returned to the beginning.
The sun goes up and down and then rises again. day by day.
There seems to be no difference between each day.
But we know that time has indeed become different. The annual rings of the tree grow every year, flowers bloom and fall, the food will rot, and the iron will rust. The time changes more than the number of candles on birthday cakes. Birth, decline then death. Time leaves traces on things.
Then How to express the traces of time with a clock?
So I made a clock out of colored sand. As the hands change, every second leaves traces and makes the color of the dial plate more chaotic. I want to show that entropy increases with time in this way. The arrow of time left traces by changing the color.
Though, from a larger scale, there are more possibilities for time. But what we can experience is only a single type of time, uniform, universal, and ordered. Just like Carlo Rovelli says in the order of time.

For a whole day, I stared at the traces left by the hands on the colored sand and only came up with clichés. If every second is unique and the change of time cannot be reversed by now, cherish every second, think more, and experience more.
